Speaking from the TMB offices in Preston today, a relaxed Sir Norman went on to say: "This afternoon, we calculated that - thanks to tripe lovers - we've raised £207 in a little over five weeks. In fact, from our initial stock we've only got three copies left".
The TMB 2015 Diary has become the fastest-selling meat-based marketing board diary in history. Sir Norman derided claims in the December issue of the industry journal Offal Monthly that the diary was little more than a 'thinly-veiled catalogue for TMB Books'.
"We may have mentioned one or two of our other books in passing, but we've yet to receive a single complaint about it," he said.
