It's A Tough Sell

Figures released by insurance experts today reveal that the job of tripe salesman is the fourth toughest job in Britain, beaten only by steeplejacks, fishermen and miners. 

Tripe Marketing Board chairman Sir Norman Wrassle said "The results of this survey will come as no surprise to those working in the industry.  We recommend that our retailers take out insurance with the United Beneficent Tripe Dressers' Association, which offer good deals at the moment."

The toughest jobs in Britain in descending order of difficulty are: 

1.       Steeplejack

2.       Fisherman

3.       Miner

4.       Tripe salesman

5.       Scaffolder

6.       Ambulance driver

7.       Policeman

8.       Accountant

9.       Pop star

10.    Librarian
